December 2012 and reprise 2013. In 2012 Katikati Theatre performed a dramatised reading of Charles Dickens classic story,
'A Christmas Carol'. A cast of ten, led by Dave Woodhouse as Scrooge, performed a variety of characters.
Narrated by Di Logan and Elisabeth Beamish, the script was adapted from the original Dickens story by Canadian playwright, Richard Epp and directed by Cherie Baunton.
The December 2012 performances took place at the historic St Peter's church in Katikati.
The play was taken 'on tour' to Omokoroa and performed with the same cast and director at the Settlers' Hall in December 2013.
